Danfoss, a leading global technology partner for energy efficiency and sustainable solutions, officially moved into its new administration and sales headquarters in Offenbach am Main in August 2023. The office, which is located in one of the first CO2-neutral buildings in Germany, represents a significant milestone in Danfoss’ commitment to energy efficiency and climate protection. With a total rental area of around 13,850 square meters, the state-of-the-art office offers space for more than 400 employees and sets new standards in terms of sustainability and modern working environment.
The new administration and sales center of Danfoss Germany is located in Offenbach am Kaiserlei in the “LEIQ“, which is one of the first CO₂-neutral office buildings in Germany and is an impressive example of energy efficiency and sustainable architecture. The use of innovative technologies and materials minimizes energy consumption in the new office while at the same time offering maximum comfort for employees. The heat is supplied via the local district heating network and the electrical energy is provided by offshore wind farms in the North Sea.
Danfoss has been represented in Germany since 1952 and has had an office in the industrial area in Offenbach Waldhof since 1969. The move to Offenbach Kaiserlei was not least due to the sharp increase in requirements for energy efficiency and sustainability in relation to the company’s own premises: “The opening of our new administration and sales center in Offenbach marks an important step on our way to a sustainable future‘ said Stefan Koenig, Managing Director of Danfoss in Germany. “As a company, Danfoss aims to be carbon neutral by 2030 and we are fully committed to minimizing our environmental footprint and developing innovative solutions for climate protection. The new office is a living example of how we put our own values into practice and serves as a model for new office buildings and existing refurbishments.“
The new Danfoss office in Offenbach also serves as a reference object for in-house products and applications. A special showroom, directly visible from the spacious foyer and connected to the building’s energy system, provides insights into the world of Danfoss technologies and solutions.
It is also one of the most modern and attractive Danfoss offices, not only in Germany but worldwide. The new office offers a modern and attractive working environment that supports the work processes, cooperation and interaction between the different areas. In the spirit of “New Work”, Danfoss employees were actively involved in the design of the office.
