TELEVISION – « And that, I buy “. For the return of its dance competition dedicated to celebrities Dance with the stars, TF1 focused on security, with a hint of novelty. The show’s press conference was held this Thursday, January 25 at the channel’s premises. TF1 had maliciously maintained the suspense for weeks over the identity of the members of the jury for season 13 of DALS. We know them now, and there are a few surprises.

The unbeatable Chris Marques is obviously there. It’s impossible to imagine a season of the show without the parade of sparkly jackets and hairspray hairstyles he treats viewers to each week.

He will be seated next to his former friend, Jean-Marc Généreux. The dancer and choreographer, currently on the show Welcome to the Monastery, is in fact making a comeback on the DALS jury. A pillar of the jury from seasons 1 to 10, he left the bench for season 11 and only made a short appearance during season 12.

Another return from the side of the jurors, that of Fauve Hautot. The show’s historic dancer has already played this role from seasons 6 to 8. She then resumed her role as choreographer and dancer to accompany the candidates. As a reminder, Fauve Hautot won four seasons of DALS: with Emmanuel Moire, Sami El Gueddari, Tayc and Billy Crawford.

Mel Charlot, the new recruit to the DALS jury

Viewers will still have the opportunity to discover a new face among the jurors who are already well versed in the exercise. TF1 has indeed recruited the dancer Mel Charlot.

Also from Quebec, like Jean-Marc Généreux, she is not a beginner, far from it. As she confided during an interview with the Canadian site 7 dayson the one hand, she has danced for many international stars, such as Beyoncé, Pharell XWilliams and Cardi B.

She is also a choreographer for television shows such as The Masked Singer, Lip Sync Battle et So You Think You Can Dance. Finally, she has already proven herself as a juror since she officiates alongside Jean-Marc Généreux, as a juror or “master” of the Canadian dance show Revolution.
