This year’s field of participants in the ORF “Dancing Stars” has halved: with musician Lucas Fendrich, the fifth candidate had to leave the dance show on Friday evening, but five more are still in the running. On average, 637,000 spectators (25 percent market share) were present when the dances were presented, and the subsequent decision was followed by 668,000 people (30 percent market share).
This means that actress Lilian Klebow, ex-racing driver Corinna Kamper, restaurateur Eveline Eselböck, singer Missy May and ex-ski jumping coach Alexander Pointner together with their professional dance partners have the chance to win the competition. The grand finale with three couples will take place on May 12th. In the last season to date in autumn 2021, cabaret artist Caroline Athanasiadis was able to assert herself.
