Dancers who have proved their talent for ten weekends in a row competed for survival: soprano Jomantė Šležaitė-Paukštė and Rafal Narkevič, actress Paulina Taujanskaitė and Rolandas Beržinis, singer Jurgis Brūzga and Katerina Voropaj and the performer Norbert Liatkovsky (Norbe) and Victoria Sheinker.
Last weekend, after summing up the scores of the two-show commission and the audience, the project was unexpectedly abandoned by a pair of leaders. The choreographer left on the tenth show Marijanas Staniulėnas and Ieva Brigita Riepšaitė. This time Jurgis and Katerina had to say “goodbye”.

Four pairs competed for the ticket to the finals of the project on Saturday night – it will be clear on December 25 who will be the winners of “Dance with the Star”. After creating eleven impressive dances and overcoming the “Judges’ Challenge”, the semi-finalists tried to prove that they were worthy of the title of winners.
This Saturday, participants performed two performances each: four pairs performed a dance they had already seen in previous shows and one new one.
During the evening, as every weekend, a musical surprise awaited the TV viewers. “Dance with a Star” appeared on the dance floor in the semifinals Monika Pundziūtė-Monique.
The performances of the four best couples in the semi-finals of the project were watched, evaluated and commented on by sports dance professionals.
On the eleventh dance evening, the participants were evaluated by the Vice President of the Lithuanian Sports Dance Federation, a deserving Lithuanian sports coach Virginijus Visockas, three-time European professional Latin American dance champion Justas Kučinskas and multiple champion of Lithuanian and various international dance competitions Eglė Visockaitė.

The parquet was opened by J. Brūzga and K. Voropaj on Saturday evening. The pair is playing the slow waltz to the song “Amar Pelos Dois” by Salvador Sobral, the winner of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. The couple, who started the semi-finals with sensitivity, also impressed the judges.
“I think your show was like a gift to your families. Even the technical problems did not prevent the mood of the work from being conveyed, it developed perfectly, ”V. Visockas said.
“I was not bored at all. “I don’t want to analyze mistakes tonight, you have learned so much, you have come a long way, so you want to enjoy dancing,” E. Visockaitė wished.
“Your dance was very festive, elegant, romantic, so I would like to congratulate Egle on the path you have taken,” said J. Kučinskas.
The pair rated the pair’s first performance with 25 points.

For the second dance, Jurgis and Katerina took to rock and roll. The couple started a real party on stage.

Paulina Taujanskaitė and Rolandas Beržinis
A couple of actresses Paulina and dancer Roland soon tested the stage and live air. The foxtrot issue took the audience and the judges to an elegant and sensual show.
“We recently saw this dance and I know Paulina likes to be on the foxtrot and I suddenly felt like I was with you in it. This is a very good sign, because you managed to include it, – assessed E. Visockaitė and pointed out Paulina’s dress. with my partner – great, foot technique is also very good, so I can only wish you success. ”
“No, I will not discuss the dress,” J. Kučinskas smiled soon. – I want to notice that the amplitude has started to open up. This is something we can rarely recognize. The body begins to allow more. What do we see? That Paulina’s body becomes more expressed, more coordinated. It seems to me that it was the best performance of your couple. “

Paulina and Roland surprised with passionate bahtatha movements in the second dance. While learning this dance, it was noticed that it is perfect for the actress. The commission also assured that the dancers had done a great job.

Norbert Liatkovsky and Victoria Sheinker
Performer Norbe and his dance partner Victoria first demonstrated energetic java. The couple did not escape criticism.
“I look at what you see in the scenography, <...> the music is very high-energy, but at the same time monotonous, so it’s hard to dance java to such music. I don’t know why you chose such a song for java, “J. Kučinskas did not understand.
“Beautiful, charismatic, but in terms of all the dancing, it looks like we’re back on the sixth show. Legs were intertwined, there was no communication either with the audience or with the partner “, V. Visockas analyzed.
“I know why we went back to the sixth show because Norbert thought he was already proficient in this dance. He has strong energy and is a good dancer, but today he will not deny that he failed to dance well, ”said E. Visockaitė.
The pair earned 23 commission points for java.

The pair of Norbe and Victoria surprised the rhythmic lindihop this time. Thick steps, lifts and high spirits – this is the second performance of the dancers. The Commission has assessed the couple’s efforts.

Jomantė Šležaitė-Paukštė and Rafal Narkevič
Soprano Jomante and her dance partner Rafal often repeat the motifs of books and films in their performances. The couple did not betray it this time either – their first number showed the slow waltz inspired by the tragedy of Anna Karenina.
“It’s a sad ending, there was no need to attack under that train. When it comes to dance, I watch this dance for the second time and the effect is the same. I watched and kept controlling myself to see how those legs work, but I have lived in your history, ”V. V. V.
“It seems to me that classical music helps Jomante to dance, because she hears every nuance and it is easier for her to convey everything with her body, hand movements,” E. Visockaitė noted.
“When you separated from each other, Jomante smiled, that smile was all over her body. I was dreaming at the time and once again realized that dance is a wonderful form of communication, – J. Kučinskas revealed. “It’s very easy to watch your dance because it’s easy for you.”
The judges of the project evaluated this dance with 29 points.

The last performance of the evening took us to warm countries – Jomante and Rafal rotate to the rhythm of salsa.
