The dancers of Kinanty Ligar Studio performed their dance art so nimbly that they livened up the morning atmosphere in the culinary area of BWP.
Not to mention the enthusiasm of the gymnast dancers and residents who visited to enjoy their morning jog in the morning eating area of Banjar Water Park was quite crowded.
The head of Banjar City’s Kinanty Ligar Studio, Lingga Kinanty Krish Nalendra, said that the dance show is a routine activity every year. The dance performance is also a form of final learning assignment by the Studio.
The dance show was deliberately held in the culinary area of the BWP as a place to train the dance participants to be used to being in public spaces.
“The participants who take part in this dance show are from the general public. Regularly once a year as a form of final learning assignment in the studio,” Lingga told Harapanrakyat.comSunday (27/11/2022).
Constant dance practice every week
He continued to explain, so far Kinanty Ligar Studio has consistently held regular dance and cultural practice every week. Participants were schoolchildren aged 4 to the general public or adults and private classes.
The types of arts and cultural education available at Kinanty Ligar Studio include makeup and gamelan classes. As for the private dance lessons, they teach jaipong, ballet, mask, foreign and creation.
“For dance classes that are studied from the age of 4 to the general public. There are gamelan lessons, makeup lessons and jaipong dance. Exercises are regularly performed every Friday, Saturday and Sunday,” she said.
He further added that so far Sangga Kinanty Ligar has often taken part in various art and cultural performances. Both at the regional and regional (provincial) level.
However, for those who perform more frequently at the provincial level, because some time ago, during the Covid-19 pandemic, there were many restrictions on staging arts and culture at the regional level.
“We actually exist more at the provincial level due to the lack of arts activities in the regions. Especially during a pandemic. So, we actually took part in the provincial level activities several times,” she said.

He hopes that the current generation can learn about and preserve culture and the arts, especially dance.
“We hope that the current generation can recognize and preserve culture and the arts, especially in the field of dance. Enjoying modern culture but not eliminating a region’s unique aesthetic,” he added.
Support from the Banjar City Education and Culture Office
Meanwhile, the head of culture at Banjar city’s education and culture office, Neni Susiyani, said her group enjoyed the dance show’s agenda.
According to him, the agenda of staging as well as providing space for creativity to practice with dance artists. This includes reviving the weekend holiday atmosphere in the culinary area of Banjar Water Park (BWP).
So far, Neni said, there are several dance groups that are still active, but of some of these communities, only the circle dance studio dance community is quite active in staging.
