A security expert died at the age of 42 And Kaminsky. He was best known for his lectures at security conferences, where he revealed, for example, the serious vulnerability of DNS systems and their susceptibility to cache poisoning whose rootkit hidden on music CDs Sony BMG.
He has worked for large companies such as Cisco, Avaya and IOActive, and founded his own company, White Ops. He was very active in the community, performing at conferences such as Black Hat and DEFCON. In 2010, ICANN selected him as one of the trusted people to manage the DNSSEC root key.
I guess theres no hiding it now. We lost @dakami yesterday. One of the brightest lights in infosec and probably the kindest soul I knew. The vacuum he leaves behind is impossible to measure. Please keep speculation to yourself and be respectful of his family and friends.
