It’s the news that no one wanted to hear because it causes everyone great disappointment. Unfortunately, however, this is the case, Damiano will no longer be here.
It’s news that leaves a certain bitter taste in the mouth because everyone down to the last one he made sure it didn’t happen. Unfortunately, however, it happened this way. Damiano Carrara will no longer be present within the program.
This was to be expected, given the declining ratings of the last two editions, but it still hurts say goodbye to someone you were fond of in some way.
In this case then the morsel is even more difficult to digestbecause it’s not just any person, but a pastry chef much loved by the public of television, which he currently holds an important role both in the world of Italian pastry making and in that of entertainment. As a result, it is even more painful to accept that he will abandon the program.
Unfortunately, however, accepting what happened and continuing to follow Damiano Carrara is precisely the only thing that can be done. There are no better alternativeseven more so now that his farewell is confirmed.
An unpromising drop in ratings
Everyone has avoided this as much as possible, but unfortunately he sensed it would happen sooner or later. That Damiano Carrara would leave. In recent times the transmission it wasn’t good in terms of ratingsso according to various rumors there would have been some radical change within the program.
In this case, in fact, it was his abandonment. However, it is not the only one that has been within the program. Even the pastry chef Tommaso Foglia he left the show, although he participated in it for only one edition. But unfortunately there was no point in continuing it.

The programme’s final farewell
For six editions he ensured that Damiano Carrara and his sidekick went to the most renowned pastry shops in a certain locality of Italy, making them challenge each other, but then after the sudden drop in ratings that existed in its last two editions, the program has ceased to exist and consequently both Damiano Carrara and Tommaso Foglia abandoned her. Before them too Katia Follesa he had abandoned it, after supporting Damiano Carrara for five editions.
Unfortunately, however, this is how it goes in the world of television. If the ratings don’t work, sooner or later the broadcasts fail. This is what happened with “Cake star – Pastry shops in challenge“. What a great shame though!
