Dallas stars open NHL season on January 14

Finally, the Dallas Stars know when, where and with whom they will play when the 2020-21 NHL season begins.

The defending Western Conference champions will open the season on January 14 by visiting the Florida team.

The Stars will return to the American Airlines Center in Dallas for the first time since March for the home opener against Nashville on January 22.

Dallas will play a 56-game season in the realigned Central Division alongside teams from Tampa Bay, Florida, Nashville, Carolina, Columbus, Chicago and Detroit.

In February, the Stars will spend 18 consecutive days in Dallas to face eight games against Chicago, Carolina, Nashville and Tampa Bay.

The longest tour they will have is a 10-day trip through Nashville, Carolina and Chicago in March and April.
