Dallas –
NBA star Luka Doncic has advanced into an elite circle of league history with 36 points, 16 rebounds and 15 assists and has left Michael Jordan behind in a leaderboard.
The successor to Dirk Nowitzki as the central figure in the Dallas Mavericks pulled past ex-Bulls professional Jordan in the 101: 117 against the Chicago Bulls with the 29th triple double of his career and is now alone in 15th place on the list, according to ESPN . The Slovenian is also only the fourth professional in NBA history to have at least 35 points, 15 assists and 15 rebounds in one game.
Doncic was still dissatisfied after the game and blamed himself for the defeat. “I played terribly in the second half,” said Doncic. “I was a little selfish because I had 30 points in the first half.”
In the defeat, the Mavericks had to do without national player Maxi Kleber and four other professionals who are currently not eligible to play due to the NBA’s corona rules. (dpa)
