The Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Giants 20-15 at the start of Week 4 of the NFL, in a Thursday Night Football that, far from bringing peace of mind for the Cowboys, adds more doubts and concerns around the team’s present.
In fact, the Giants offense surpassed a Dallas attack -213 and 294- in passing and total yards -277 and 303- that went from highest to lowest in the duel. Including CeeDee Lamb -7 receptions, 98 yards, one score- with a brilliant first half, but a dull second half.
Dak Prescott had a solid performance – 22 of 27 passing, 221 yards, 2 touchdowns – while Daniel Jones completed 29 of 40 passes for 281 yards, with one interception. Much of that production was with Malik Nabers -12 receptions for 115 yards-, a receiver who continues to impress as a rookie.
Adding to the alarm, Dallas lost star Micah Parsons to a left leg injury and saw several members of a depleted secondary leave the game over the course of the night.
