Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Lebanese actress, Dalida Khalil, responded to the controversy raised by her photos with the Egyptian artist, Amr Diab, one of which included a “kiss”, confirming that she had asked him to do so spontaneously.
Khalil said in statements to “ET in Arabic”: “It is just one or three pictures.” When asked about the kiss in one of the pictures, the Lebanese actress said: “I asked him to kiss me, so he kissed me … so it was spontaneously.”
And Dalida Khalil continued: “I was in his project (Amr Diab) on the coast with my friends, and I felt excited when I learned of his presence in the project, and of course I am a big fan of Amr Diab.”
The Lebanese actress added, “It is undeniable that he is a distinguished and inspiring figure, and he is a legend in every sense of the word and exciting gossip, no matter what he does, and this is what happened.”
And about the possibility of her participation in a video clip with “The Plateau”, Khalil said: “We did not talk about it. It was an interesting conversation, and we spoke quickly, simply and spontaneously.”
About a week ago, the Lebanese actress published pictures of her with Amr Diab, one of which included a kiss on her Instagram page, which sparked controversy on social media.
