A video in which Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama can be heard asking a boy to suck his tongue caused a major storm on social networks. Now a several-year-old video has also surfaced, where the Dalai Lama misbehaves with the world-class singer Lady Gaga.
The published video allegedly shows the Dalai Lama grabbing the singer’s leg.
It happened during a sympathy conference in Indiana. During the event, deciding how to provide support to those who have physical and psychological difficulties. Although the purpose of the conference was to direct the public towards compassion and empathy, the Dalai Lama’s behavior caused controversy.
The religious leader touched Lady Gaga’s knee for 17 seconds, but when the Dalai Lama tried to touch the singer’s other leg, Gaga grabbed his hand.
A wide-ranging exchange of opinions took place when a video of an event in February this year in the northern Indian city of Dharamsala, which is also the residence of the Dalai Lama, appeared on social networks.
In the video footage, the Dalai Lama can be seen and heard inviting a 10-year-old boy onto the stage, asking him to kiss him on the cheek and on the lips.
As the boy obediently fulfills all the demands, the 87-year-old Dalai Lama tells him: “Now suck my tongue.”
At that moment, the spiritual leader apologized for his actions.
