Netflix really seems to give the green light to everything that is proposed from the Korean department, no doubt thanks to the great success of many crazy series that have come from the country to the streaming service. The latest in the series to achieve such success is the series Dakgangjeong, which is about a father who tries to turn his daughter back into a human after she was turned into a chicken nugget by a strange machine.
The plot outline for the series is as follows: “Choi Min-ah, the daughter of a company director, mistakes a new machine for a device that helps her with fatigue, and she is accidentally turned into a chicken nugget. When her father, Choi Seon-man, and intern Go Baek-joong , who is in love with her, tries to make her human again, they discover unexpected secrets.”
It’s unclear when (or even if) the series will make its global premiere on Netflix, but Netflix Korea has gone so far as to say it’s slated as one of its Q1 2024 additions, before also sharing an image of the series.
