Daisy Ridley hinted at this Star Wars: The New Jedi Order could be the start of a new series. Soon Star Wars: The New Jedi Orderwhose official title has not been announced, is written by Steven Knight and directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. It will see the return of Rey, the heroine of Ridley’s sequel trilogy that debuted in 2015. The Force Awakens and has not appeared in the game franchise since 2019. The Rise of SkywalkerThis is the latest feature-length installment in the series at the time of writing.
In a current profile with Hollywood-ReporterDaisy Ridley talked about coming Star Wars Project. She thought about what it was.scary“Returning to the role of Rey after more than five years, but said that”It will be interesting to go back to someone I know so wellHowever, the most telling part of her quote was the description of the upcoming project as “new/new.” The seems to imply that there may be more than one film in which Rey returns. I have a feeling that the new ones will be very interesting. Time has passed and a lot has changed for me personally, so it will be interesting to return to someone I know so well, but at such a different time. For me, owning Rey again after not seeing her for a while is actually scary, but it’s also exciting.
