Daily Schmankerl: Liverpool wants Kingsley Coman; Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich goes acoustic; New Milot Rashica-to-Bayern chatter; Chelsea serious about Achraf Hakimi; Erling Haaland goes bold; and MORE!

Can we add Liverpool to the list of clubs pursuing Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman? It appears so:

There may be a lot of movement in the Bayern Munich offices this summer. As it has been leaking from Germany, after David Alaba ended up leaving the German team for free, the Bavarian team wanted that not to happen with another of its great players, Kingsley Coman, but the response from the footballer and of his agent, Pini Zahavi (the same as Alaba) has been the one to ask for a millionaire to renew and now, everything indicates that they will have to part with him if they do not want the same thing to happen to him as with Alaba.

At the moment, the renovation is completely stopped and the player is in no hurry to change the situation since time is working in his favor. Ending the contract in 2023, Bayern will have to sell him this summer since next year, one year from the end, it will be difficult for them to get some money for him. This is where Liverpool wants to act as a mediator to get both parties out of a problem. Zahavi has been knocking on doors in Europe and at Anfield they have shown interest in him. The English are looking for a left-handed winger who marries the style that Klopp imposes and Coman’s option fits them perfectly.

Per this report, however, Liverpool only want to pay €35 million for Coman, while Bayern — allegedly — wants €50 million.

With Manchester United closing in on a deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho and Coman reportedly unhappy that he has to take a financial backseat to Leroy Sane, maybe Liverpool is an option?

Probably not, though.

On this episode we discuss the following:

  • The projected lineup for France — and how Corentin Tolisso might be left out.
  • The importance of Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez to France.
  • Joachim Löw’s tough call in choosing between Kai Havertz and Leroy Sane.
  • How Thomas Müller and Mats Hummels went from expendable to keystone players.
  • Why Manuel Neuer is capable of stealing a draw or — gasp! — a win.
  • A prediction on the match.

Could Bayern Munich really be preparing to make a move for Werder Bremen’s Milot Rashica?

Likely to part ways with Werder Bremen on an about 12 million euros transfer fee, with only one contract-tied year left, Kosovar international winger Milot Rashica, turning 25 on June 28, has been targeted by Bayern Munich, according to latest German news.

Closer and closer to join Eintracht Frankfurt anyways, former Vitesse up-and-comer, playing German football throughout latest three years and a half, has been heavily linked to a move to either Serie A or Premier League, as well as to a Bundesliga prominent side, from summer 2019 on.

Suitable as an attacking midfielder and a second striker as well, Rashica is still allegedly tracked by a bunch more clubs, including Aston Villa, RB Leipzig, Sevilla FC, Bayer Leverkusen, Lazio, and AS Roma.

Chelsea can’t seem to quit Inter Milan‘s Achraf Hakimi:

Chelsea don’t give up about signing Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan. According to reports in the Daily Express, it will take more than £51.5m for the Champions League winners to sign the 22-year-old Morocco international full back. Chelsea day ago matched PSG’s £56.1m offer for the player. Sky in Italy reported that Inter may well be more open to Chelsea’s proposal because of the Italian club’s interest in Emerson Palmieri and Andreas Christensen. Inter would like Palmieri on loan while Chelsea would prefer a permanent move.
