“If Indonesia reports 11 thousand cases and even 20 thousand at once, that’s the tip of the iceberg. We must realize that this is a very rational mathematical calculation (of) growth. omicron This one has a short incubation period and a reproduction number above 5,” said Dicky when contacted by Kompas.com, Sunday (30/1/2022).

Dicky encourages the implementation of 3T, namely inspection (testing), close contact tracing (tracing) and treatment (treatment) is increased as one of the mitigation efforts.
He said that if the 3T increase was delayed, it would have an impact on vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, and comorbid patients.
