As reported by the Philippines Daily Inquirer/ANN and The Star, Monday (27/9/2021), the Ministry of Health Filipina (DOH) recorded 20,755 new infections in the past 24 hours.
This number of new cases accounted for 21.9 percent of the 74,460 people tested. Since first finding new cases last year, the total number of confirmed cases of infection has risen to 2,490,858.
Meanwhile, the number of deaths due to Corona in the last 24 hours did not increase. It was called because of a technical error.
The number of deaths due to corona in Filipina remained at 37,405, DOH again reported no new deaths due to technical faults. This is the third day in a row that no deaths have been reported by DOH.
“No deaths were reported today due to technical issues at COVIDKaya,” the DOH statement said.
