DECEMBER REPERTOIRE

JANUARY REPERTOIRE

At the end of December, we invite the audience to celebrate Christmas with the actors of Daile Theater in a concert “A MOMENT NEAR THE LIGHT”. This special holiday concert program will be played in two parts. In the first part, we will visit the sky, where songs from Valta Puce’s cycle “Songs of the Seasons” will be played, and in the second part, we will descend closer to the earth with the most beautiful songs of master Raimonds Paul.

On January 17, the premiere of Ilze Ķuzule-Skrastiņa’s monologue is planned in the small hall “ALL THEM” Directed by Ines Michule. Playwright Alistair McDowell has created three monologues in a poetic play centered on the fate of a woman. One survives the air raid hiding in her home, the other is the mother and her double, the third is fate itself.

On the other hand, on January 19, the Daile Theater in cooperation with “Mischief Worldwide Ltd.” presents a production of The Mischief Theatre “PETER PEN DIES IN BUTTER”. Cornley Polytechnic’s drama group returns to the Daile Theater stage, this time in a family-friendly production about a boy who didn’t want to grow up. The actors already loved by the audience, who investigated the murder in Haversham Manor and put everything in complete butter in the production “The show that goes in butter”, have now created a new show. In the heat of battle between the legendary Peter Pan and his nemesis Captain Hook, everything will fall apart again, but the love between Wendy and Peter will be as real as in a fairy tale.
