Dahl’s contract with Baden-Württemberg Foundation extended

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – Christoph Dahl will remain at the head of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation for another three years. The contract of the 67-year-old husband of the CDU politician and outgoing minister of education, Susanne Eisenmann, was extended at the end of last year, as Dahl announced on request in Stuttgart on Wednesday. The term of office ends in April 2024. In the past, such contract extensions were mostly communicated publicly. This time it wasn’t.

Dahl was government spokesman under the former Prime Minister Günther Oettinger (CDU). He took up the post in May 2010 after Oettinger had given up his post as Prime Minister and moved to the EU Commission in Brussels. The non-partisan foundation, which was set up in 2000, manages assets of around 2.3 billion euros. When it comes to investments, it has been struggling with the low interest rate phase for years.
