TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Dahlan Iskan, former Minister of State-Owned Enterprises and chairman of the Jawa Group, recounted his conversation with Hardi Darmawan, a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University, South Sumatra. Hardi was none other than a doctor who had treated the late Akidi Tio, a businessman from Aceh who had just donated Rp 2 trillion in cash.
To Dahlan, Hardi said that the aid would be transferred in cash on Wednesday today. The aid was sent to the South Sumatra Police Chief, Inspector General Eko Indra Heri, but probably through a special account.
