The Associate Directors of Popular Carnival Shows of Uruguay (Daecpu) will carry out this Monday, January 31, a third-dose anticovid vaccination day for all members of the carnival “who meet the sanitary conditions to receive it,” according to what they reported.
It will be from 09:00 to 15:00 at the association’s headquarters, located on Joaquín Suárez and Fiol de Pereda.
The activity has the endorsement of the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) and will be coordinated by advisor Jorge Lombardo.
“Daecpu wishes, with this activity, to support the set of official activities arranged in the fight against the pandemic, ratifying once again the call for health care for artists, officials, the public and all the participants of the carnival,” the organization said in the release.
