The price of Dacia’s first electric car fell for the first time, after in recent years it had risen to a level that brought it closer to rivals from other brands. In one of the model’s newest markets, the discount has been officially announced, while in Romania it is available as a special offer, according to the data analyzed by Profit.ro.
Dacia Maroc will reduce the price of the Spring by around 3,000 euros, approximately 10 months after entering the market. If then the semiconductor crisis was still felt and the demand was very high, now the market behaves differently, throughout Europe, in the electrical segment.

The price of a Spring in Essential equipment, entry-level version for this model, drops from 21,138 euros (228,500 Moroccan drachmas) to 18,400 euros (199,000 drachmas) in the Moroccan market, according to the brand’s official announcement. The model was launched on this market in February of this year, since then over 100 units have been sold, which makes Dacia a leader in the electric segment as well. At the same time, Renault’s financing division, Mobilize, announced a special leasing offer at 3,000 drachmas per month, which is less than 300 euros.
The top trim, the Expression, also gets a price cut, from 238,500 drachmas to 209,000 drachmas, i.e. from 22,060 euros to 19,300 euros. Both equipments have the 45 HP engine.
In Europe, the Essential trim is no longer available with the launch of the 65 hp engine. Thus, the Expression equipment became the entry for Spring, on all European markets, with prices exceeding 20,000 euros. In France and Romania, for example, the price for this equipment starts from 20,800 euros, in Germany the price is even higher, 22,750 euros. The top version, Extreme, has the 65 HP engine and the price is about 2000 euros higher.

In Romania, Dacia has disabled the Spring configurator, because customers can buy this model from stock, at a reduced price of more than 3,000 euros. Dacia has several fast delivery cars in stock that fall under the brand’s special offer, being available in Expression trim for 18,900 euros, including the Mode 2 charging cable and, for 19,200 euros, even the 30 kW DC fast charger . Virtually all options and colors of the Expression version are available. At the same time, the Extreme version, with 65 HP, is available in stock starting from 22,849 euros, a higher price than the one at which this version was launched (22,450 euros). The most expensive Dacia Spring Extreme with options reaches 23,550 euros.
Dacia Spring was launched in Romania at the price of 18,100 euros, in the Expression equipment, but it has systematically become more expensive in the last two years, due to the increase in the prices of components, transport and logistics, according to the explanations provided by the brand.
