CITY MEASURE – After unveiling it last October, the Romanian company communicates the Italian prices of its first electric car, the Dacia Spring Electric. It is a city car derived from the Renault City K-ZE already marketed in China (the two brands are part of the same group), which has shapes inspired by crossovers and small dimensions: height from the ground of 15 cm, length of 373 cm, 162 wide and 152 in height, with a step of 242 cm.
THREE VERSIONS – In Italy the D.acia Spring Electric will be available in three versions, with the first deliveries expected in September 2021. There are the normal Spring for individuals and companies, the Business, specific for car sharing operators and the commercial version Cargo N1 homologated, without rear seats and with a load volume of 1,100 liters (available from 2022). The prices of the latter will be announced later. Two versions are foreseen: Comfort and Comfort Plus.
TWO EQUIPMENTS – The Dacia Spring Electric under construction Comfort starts at 19,900 euros (which become 9,460 by taking advantage of the incentives with scrapping) and, among other things, includes: manual air conditioning, bluetooth radio with usb, led daytime running lights, 14 “wheels, Mode 2 / type 2 charging cable, eco mode, speed limiter, black bars, electric mirrors, chrome grille, front and rear electric windows. There Comfort Plus, which costs 21,400 euros (which become 10,960 euros with scrapping), adds orange moldings that concern the side stripping, the mirror caps, the air intakes and the interiors. The navigator with 7 ”screen display, parking sensors with rear view camera, spare wheel and metallic paint are also part of this set-up. Optional for a fee the DC direct current charger (600 euros) and the mode 2 charging cable (300 euros).
ENGINE, BATTERIES AND CHARGING – All the Dacia Spring Electric they are equipped with an electric motor of 44 HP and 125 Nm of torque which transfers the motion to the front wheels (with the Eco function the power is limited to 31 HP and thus energy consumption is reduced, favoring autonomy), powered by batteries of 26.8 kWh, guaranteed for 8 years or 120,000 km. L’autonomy is 225 km, while the top speed is limited to 125 km / h. To fill up the battery by connecting the Spring to a 2.3 kWh domestic electrical system, it takes about 14 hours; to a 30 kW column, in less than an hour they regenerate from 0% to 80%.
