Dacia Sandero conquers Europe slowly but surely. The Romanian model achieved an impressive result in the top of the best-selling cars in Europe in June.

Dacia Sandero finished June on the 3rd place in the ranking of the most popular models in Europe. In front of her were only Volkwagen Golf, a regular model with the first positions, and Tesla Model 3, according to a report published by JATO Dynamics.

1,268,683 new cars were sold in June 2021, 27% more than in January-June 2020, but 23% less than in June-January 2019.

The total number of cars sold in the first half of this year reaches 6.41 million units. The countries with the highest growth were Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland and Germany. Romania is at the opposite pole. It is ranked 2nd in the EU. Below us is only Poland.

In its first full year in Europe, the Tesla Model 3 impresses. The American electric car takes into account an increase of 262% compared to June last year. 25,697 units were sold in June. Model 3 is also the best-selling zero-emission model.

Dacia Sandero climbed to the third step of the podium. The Romanian car was chosen by 22,764 customers. Sandero thus overtook the Renault Clio, with which it shares the CMF-B platform.
