Some rumors speak of a possible repositioning of Dacia in the next 2 years… During a promotional video recently launched, Dacia communicated – to the immense joy of its consumers – its intention to launch three completely new models by 2025. Let’s see find out more…
Among them is an electric SUV called Kieger, but what caused the most sensation was probably the vision of this new car that we show you on the cover called Dacia “Great“. It seems more robust and solid than the much loved Duster – which will soon also receive the 7-seater version ….
It will be – apparently – a model with more generous dimensions than the Duster, approximately 4.60 meters (28 cm more than the already existing SUV) and will propose a new one much more aggressive look and very decisive, with more elaborate LED daytime running lights and more squared shapes. Sara at Dacia of the highest range, definable – and also with good reason – as a sort of incredible and convincing “flagship”, with an juvenile, rock and sporty at the same time, which mischievously winks at the off-road world. It is -obviously- a prototype but it could also begin to dictate the basis for a new stylistic language. And what do you think?
A gritty model
It will be developed on the new CMF-B platformwhich is capable of accommodating electrified engines, in addition to the – very tempting and captivating – possibility of a methane variant or LPG which is – to be honest – much more probable, so as to capture even motorists who are attentive to the cost per km.
Always with a view to saving, a theme that is more topical today than ever, Dacia plays – and also with great skill, thus offering a C-segment car (with its 4.6 meters) at the price of a B-segment SUV. we expect a little price less than 30 thousand euroswith finishes obviously better than the Duster. However, it is necessary to remain on the ground of mere hypotheses, since there are still no confirmations in this regard.
As for the other two models, one will be presented next year while the second will not see the light before 2024. These will join 3 other absolutely new models that Renault will present. Furthermore, the entire operation will serve to rationalize the offer making the production cycles of the cars much more efficient.
The French brand should – and here we have to use the conditional – as well thin out its range of vehicles, reducing it from 18 to 11, and this should happen within the next 2 years.
Dacha– at that point – it could make a small leap in terms of perceived quality, while its place as a more “spartan” car could be taken by Lada.
The common point around which the entire Renault and Dacia offer will move revolves around the CMF-B platformmodular and light, as well as highly capable of accommodating electrified engines of all kinds.
Just about a repositioning of Daciawe note the appearance of a new logo for the Romanian manufacturer. It could be an indication that should not be underestimated about the future change of the brand, moving a little more towards a cool area of the automotive world, losing that position as a low-cost manufacturer that has always distinguished it since its inception on the market.
