Due to the new safety requirements for the 2024 model year, the models of the Romanian car manufacturer received more advanced driving assistants and other little things.
As part of the fulfillment of the GSR II (Global Safety Regulation) standard, which will enter into force in Europe this July, the Dacia Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Jogger receive a package of standard safety features. Among them are event (accident) data recording devices, traffic sign recognition with speeding warning, lane departure warning, lane keeping assistant, preparation for the so-called alcohol immobilizer, driver fatigue warning, rear parking sensors, rain and light sensors, an advanced emergency braking system with pedestrian and cyclist detection and an emergency stop signal.
In addition, you will also find a QR code on the cars, after scanning which the emergency services will gain access to the Dacia Rescue information brochure, which contains information on safe and quick intervention in the event of an emergency.
Along with this, it also received slight aesthetic changes. The current model year also brings, for example, new alloy wheels, with the Stepway version you can also look forward to the attractive Safari beige metallic. The Dacia Jogger with a hybrid drive received a seven-inch display in front of the driver and the E-Save function, thanks to which you can set the target level of the traction battery charge.
While the Sandero model with a 1.0 TCe engine with 67 kW starts at 319,900 CZK, you will pay 35,000 more for the Sandero Stepway. The Jogger 1.0 Ego-G 100 station wagon with combined operation on LPG and an output of up to 74 kilowatts starts at 425,000. The surcharge for the seven-digit version amounts to CZK 30,000.
