Dacia is trembling for the future, with the news regarding a well-known model that risks suffering serious damage.
For some time now Dacia is making a big statement on the car market, as the Romanian company, strongly active in the Renault Group, has been able to create a series of cars capable of being appreciated for both quality and price. This has led the company to become one of the most requested in Italy too.

It is now becoming popular throughout Europe and in Italy it is constantly found in the top three positions among the best-selling cars every month. The first position is now always in the hands of the FIAT Panda, while for second place there is a tough fight between the Sandero and the Lancia Ypsilon.
There are different versions of this model, with Stepway e Streetway who are nevertheless achieving great success. The Stepway is a car with a length of 410 cm, a width of 185 cm and a height of 159 cm, which makes it a small car with more than comfortable dimensions.
Inside it is appreciated for its essential style, where nothing is left to chance and where you have the opportunity to live a simple and accommodating experience at the same time. Dacia has decided to launch this car with two different engines, as you will be able to choose between a petrol and an LPG vehicle.
In both cases the engine used by the Romanian company will be a 3 cylinders of 1000 displacement which will thus be able to deliver up to a maximum of 91 horsepower. The peak speed of the basic model is 172 km/h and consumption is reduced to just 5.3 liters per 100 km, with a starting cost of 15,200 Euros.
Dacia Sandero risks supremacy: will it be the best-selling in Europe?
For several months it seemed absolutely obvious that the Dacia Sandero it would have been the best-selling car in the entire Old Continent by 2023. However, according to what was published by Automotive News Europeapparently the market is launching itself more and more towards electric and in fact the one that seems ready to look at everyone from top to bottom is the Tesla Model Y.

In September, 26,370 Europeans decided to trust this model, which represents a decrease compared to recent months. This causes the Dacia Sandero can still hope to recover, it’s just a shame that in September she wasn’t even able to get on the podium.
In fact, in second place was placed Peugeot 208, with its 21,111 models sold and France also stands out with the Renault Clio which earns the bronze medal with its 19,317 vehicles. Fourth place instead for Volkswagen Golf with 19,317 and only in fifth place can we find the Dacia Sandero with the number of cars placed in this last month which is 18,587. The Tesla Model Y therefore seems to be unattainable at the moment and for Dacia it will be almost a feat to confirm itself as the best-selling car of 2023.
