Dacia Duster is number 1 in April, the market continues to grow confidently
Dacia Duster is the best-selling new car in Bulgaria in April, according to Automedia.bg’s traditional report on registrations at the Ministry of the Interior. For the fourth month of the year, 3,172 new cars were registered – 15.3% more than the same month last year. From the beginning of 2023, the car market in the M1 and N1 categories reached 12,193 units, a 15.1% increase compared to the first four months of 2022.
The Tesla Model Y may be the best-selling car in Europe in 2023, but here it’s on the edge of the Top 40. Still, 20 new registrations in April and 92 total for the year isn’t bad for a car that isn’t even officially on sale in Bulgaria
Duster’s first place is another proof that the chip crisis has been overcome and companies are gradually starting to catch up with the accumulated orders. In April alone, one and a half times more cars from the Romanian crossover were registered than in the previous three months. This promises to bring intrigue back into the race of brands as well, where Toyota currently leads with 1,400 vehicles, ahead of Dacia with 1,156, Volkswagen with 1,044, Skoda with 1,012, Renault with 965 and Hyundai with 846.
