Dacia Duster: restyling arrives

A SUCCESS – The Dacia Duster it is a compact SUV that over the years has improved a lot in terms of quality and equipment. Ingredients that have made it successful in Italy. The renewed Dacia Duster will arrive in dealerships in September 2021 and is characterized by a refreshed aesthetic and new technological equipment.

STYLISTIC REFINEMENTS – From a stylistic point of view, the major news for Dacia Duster are visible at the front, where you can find the new LED headlights with Y-shaped daytime running lights, which debuted on the new Sandero, Sandero Spepway and Logan, and a new grille that features chrome and a three-dimensional pattern. LED technology that is also present in the dipped beams with automatic ignition, in the direction indicators and in the license plate light. The rear spoiler and the 16 and 17-inch alloy wheels are also new in shape. According to what was communicated by Dacia, these new details help to improve the aerodynamic drag coefficient.

NEW INSIDE ALSO – Many innovations within the Dacia Duster where it is there are new upholstery, new headrests and a raised center console with a sliding arm on 70 mm and equipped with a closed 1.1-liter glove compartment and two USB sockets. In addition to the Dacia Plug & Music audio system (radio, MP3, USB and Bluetooth), the restyling makes two new multimedia “packages” available: Media Display and Media Nav visible on a brand new 8 ”touch screen. With Media Display, the equipment includes 6 speakers (including 2 boomers and 2 tweeters on the front), DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity, two USB ports and a wired smartphone replication function compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Media Nav is enhanced with on-board navigation and Wi-Fi (wireless) connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

WELL EQUIPPED – Regardless of the trim level, the standard equipment of the Dacia Duster it includes the on-board computer, automatic headlight switch-on and speed limiter with backlit steering wheel controls. Depending on the version, the following are available: automatic climate control with digital display, cruise control with backlit steering wheel controls, heated front seats and Keyless Entry key.

DOES NOT MISS OFF-ROAD – The Dacia Duster restyling confirms its nature as an off-road “lover” SUV, thanks to a ground clearance of 217 mm in the 2-wheel drive version and 214 mm in the 4-wheel drive version, at a hump angle of 21 degrees , of attack of 30, and of exit of 34 in the 4×2 version and of 33 in the 4×4 version. THE RANGE OF ENGINES – The range of diesel and petrol engines has been renewed. In Italy it will also be available in the bifuel petrol-LPG ECO-G 100 2-wheel drive version with 6-speed manual transmission. The LPG tank takes the place of the spare wheel, under the boot floor; the overall range is 1,235 km thanks to the two tanks which together boast about 100 liters of useful capacity. The useful capacity of LPG has been increased by 16.2 liters compared to the previous generation of LPG Duster, with an increase in range of more than 250 kilometers. The 3.5 ”TFT display of the on-board computer informs the driver of the fuel level of both tanks.

DRIVING AIDS – The new Dacia Duster can now count on a series of new driving aids such as the blind spot sensor, parking assistance, hill start assistance, adaptive descent control (only for 4×4) and the Multiview camera (four cameras, one of which at the front, two at the sides and one at the rear of the vehicle), which allows the driver to better view the environment around the vehicle.
