“The boys immediately moved to the Academy after the match, where they had not only regeneration processes, but also a diet. They have the maximum conditions provided by the club, the service of four physiotherapists. It is essential to train the players immediately after the match to match the intensity so that they are ready for the next match. Fatigue must be caught not only with diet, but also with a quality regeneration part. We had to adjust that a little, we did it with pleasure. We know what awaits us in the next few days, not only travel, but matches in close succession, again the change to artificial grass. Now I’m already concentrating on the next match, we’re going to watch the Vikings,” said new coach Adrian Guľa.
His charges headed to the Faroe Islands already on Monday, a day after Fortunaliga’s performance and two days before the match of the European club competition number three. After a stopover in Norway to refuel, they landed at the only airport in the island country of 50,000 people. Their opponent comes from the smallest municipality that plays in the European competition, Nordragöta, Göta for short, doesn’t even have 700 inhabitants.
However, the match will take place in the capital Tórshavn at the 5,000-capacity Tórsvöllur Stadium. It will be led by Slovenian referees led by the main referee Nejc Kajtazovič, the live broadcast will be broadcast by Šport RTVS. In case of promotion, DAC will meet in the 3rd preliminary round with the successful pair of Saburtalo Tbilisi and FCSB.
