The two still think about each other and their relationship as much as possible. “We make sure that the two of us eat regularly. That’s important because there are days when you only exchange half sentences. Coincidentally, neither of us could sleep tonight. At two o’clock we went downstairs to have a glass of wine and chat ”, adds Bracha.

Schuurmans says that they have never finished talking to each other – their busy lives probably help with that. “The nice thing is that we have a lot to tell each other. As soon as we are just the two of us, it is immediately as it was. ” Not that it is always sweetness and light between the two: “We can also argue well. Especially in the beginning we could fight each other out of the tent. Of course, these were mainly picket disputes: where do I stand, where do you stand. ”
From Doesburgh emphasizes that their lack of sleep was not conducive to the ‘quarrels’: “We have had too little sleep over the past eight years, so you have to be careful. Lack of sleep is disruptive. Yet it has never been exciting in the sense of: oops, we are losing each other. ”
