The situation is constantly deteriorating in terms of the financial situation of households. Today, it is quite clear that this is not a temporary situation, but rather a permanent one, which will bring with it the need to reconsider a number of customs and things that we have taken for granted.
Rising costs are forcing people to work harder
While until recently, it seemed that the workload of employees would rather decrease due to increasing robotics, and so speculation began, for example, about a four-day working week, the reality quickly brought these ideas to the limit.
There is a desperate shortage of manpower in the Czech Republic today, and it doesn’t seem that any robotics should change that in the near future. At the same time, people do not earn enough in their standard hours to cover the rapidly rising costs of energy or food. According to some estimates, they may become even more expensive in the coming months, in the worst case several times.
Some economists already see a solution to this situation. It will simply be necessary for people to work more and longer. This is precisely the hitherto only cautious recommendation that a person who does not have financial resources should try to improve the revenue side of his budget.
Working five days a week will be a thing of the past
Many simply have no choice but to find a second job, such as a part-time job or a part-time job. As a result, for many people, an eight-hour workday will be a thing of the past. They will have to work much longer, for example 12 hours a day.
Opportunities to improve are also offered on weekends. For a change, this disrupts a stable five-day working week. It is also a question of whether it will be possible to maintain the standard five weeks of leave in the future.
After all, in these respects, Europe was ahead of the world, which, according to some experts, is also the reason why it has lagged behind economically in recent years. People are simply too comfortable here. It is customary to work much more in Asia, as is the case in the United States, although we have different ideas about them.
