The Norwegians have already shot a new version of the fairy tale Three Nuts for Cinderella. They even released the first trailer on Wednesday. Actor Vítězslav Jandák, who appeared in the original fairy tale, foretells a Norwegian remake of success. But he thinks that it will not be as good as the version directed by Václav Vorlíček.
The new Three Nuts for Cinderella are already being shot. Six months after the start of filming, the Norwegian film production has published the first footage from the upcoming remake of the popular Czech fairy tale. Actor Vítězslav Jandák also played in it, foretelling the success of Norwegian film.
“When they invented the car, they started making it in other countries as well,” Jandák told TN.cz about the idea of filming the Norwegian version of the fairy tale. Although he thinks that the new version will be successful, he does not believe that it will be as good as the original. ” other countries are trying the nice, but they don’t have the poetry, beauty and Czechness like the original fairy tale, “he claims after seeing the trailer.
Norwegian Cinderella does not like other Czechs who saw the trailer. “Why did she get three acorns instead of three nuts?” asks one of the people who saw the preview of the new Cinderella. “It will definitely not be for our Cinderella. The actors do not seem sympathetic at all,” another complains. But others think the fairy tale might not be bad. “It will never have the original. But I’m looking forward to it, I’m curious!” one of the fans of the Czech version, for example, wrote in the comments below the trailer.

The main role of Cinderella was played by the local pop star Astrid Smeplassová. Cengiz Al and Thorbjorn Harr will also appear in the film. It is not yet known who will play the role of Kamil, who was originally played by Jandák. The actor himself was not found in the trailer. “Sean Connery is already dead, so I have no idea who else could play me,” he joked.

Czech director Václav Vorlíček filmed Cinderella in the Czech Republic and Germany. The filming of the Norwegian version of the fairy tale took place in one of the largest European open-air museums in Maihaugen near the town of Lillehammer. The remake is directed by Cecilie A. Mosli. The Norwegians decided to remake also thanks to the popularity of the fairy tale in the country.
The film premieres in Norway on November 12. It is not yet clear whether Czech viewers will be able to see it in cinemas.
