The effects of the introduced restrictions were felt far more than elsewhere in Prague and the Central Bohemian Region. At the same time, employees under the age of 29 reflected the possible threat to their job the most, while those under the age of 51 reflected the least.
However, it is important to mention that around 1.4 million people assumed that this situation was only temporary. More than a quarter of a million people admitted to fearing for their job.
“More than 82% of employees who feel the effects of their employer think that the crisis threatens their work only temporarily. People are most afraid of endangering their jobs in northwestern Bohemia,” said CZSO chairman Marek Rojíček.
The ensuing crisis has also caused many wrinkles to entrepreneurs (self-employed). 63% of them, ie approximately 0.5 million people, had a negative impact. Also in this case, the greatest impacts were in the area of accommodation, catering and hospitality.
