Czech Tennis Player Brenda Fruhvirtová’s Loss in US Open Qualification Against Japanese Uchiyama

Sixteen-year-old Czech tennis player Brenda Fruhvirtová did not advance to the main competition of this year’s US Open in New York. In the opening round of qualification, she lost to the Japanese Uchiyama 1:6 and 2:6.

Fruhvirtová had two clay titles and a streak of ten victories in a row, but she couldn’t make the transition to American concrete.
