Czech sensation. Salač was the fastest at the Sachsenring

The Czech motorcyclist Filip Salač achieved another life success, starting for the first time in his career in the Moto3 World Championship race from first place. Today, the 19-year-old Czech rider won the qualification for the weakest class of the championship at the Sachsenring in Germany.

Thanks to his fifth time from training, the member of the Rivacold Snipers team got right into the second part of the qualification and was the fastest of them all. Salač was the only one to get under a minute and 27 seconds.

Second Italian Dennis Foggia lost 183,000ths of a second to him, the Japanese Tacuki Suzuki will complete the front row on Sunday. Spanish championship leader Pedro Acosta was 13th in qualifying. The Moto3 race will start at 11:00.

Jakub Kornfeil also won the last qualifying championship among Czech riders in the Moto3 class. This was achieved at the domestic Grand Prix of the Czech Republic in Brno three years ago.

Salač was so far sixth in qualifying. He made it to the second starting line last year in Valencia. In May this year, he finished second in the race in France and took the podium for the first time at the World Championships.
