The Czech Republic intends to launch the production of rifles in Ukraine. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic Daniel Blazkovec. We are talking about plans for joint production of CZ Bren 2 rifles from the company?eská zbrojovka called “Sech” or the launch of a line of small-caliber ammunition from the company Sellier&Bellot.
“Our support has changed from the level of military assistance and supplies of finished products to long-term intensive defense-industrial cooperation, which involves not only our armies, but also defense industry enterprises, both public and private. However, we want to develop this cooperation even further,” Blazhkovets said at International Defense Forum in Kyiv.
Blazkovec added that technology transfer and the creation of joint ventures between the Czech Republic and Ukraine are currently being discussed. According to him, this will make it possible to transfer weapons technologies from Soviet platforms to NATO standards.
