On Thursday they lost 1:4 against Finland, then on Saturday they lost 0:2 against Sweden. The national team is faltering in terms of shooting before the home World Championship and remains at zero points at the Czech Hockey Games.
73 shots on goal, six power plays, but… Only one goal scored in total. This is the current record of the Czech national team at the home event of the Euro Hockey Tour.
Although the Swedes have not yet deployed their main defensive stars Erik Karlsson, Victor Hedman, Jonas Brodin and Rasmus Dahlin, they have tamed the Czech shooters – with significant help from a certain Filip Gustavsson in goal (35 saves in total).
