Czech President Milos Zeman: Transgender people are disgusting

He signaled in favor of Hungary’s new law banning educational programs and materials for children that the government deems to promote homosexuality or gender change.

Asked about the law passed earlier this month by Hungarian politicians, he told CNN Before: “If you have sex reassignment surgery, you are essentially committing the crime of self-harm.”

“Every operation is a risk and transgender people are disgusting to me,” he said Sky News, Tuesday (29/6/2021).

Hungary has faced criticism for alleged human rights abuses, discrimination against migrants and restrictions on press freedom in recent years.
