The investigators from the Upper Austria State Criminal Police Office in Linz managed to successfully arrest a Czech couple who were wanted on a European arrest warrant.

The 55-year-old woman and her 56-year-old husband were arrested for fraud, making false statements and commercial theft. Through precise investigative work, the couple was located in a grocery store in the city of Linz.

Despite a warning from the 10-year-old granddaughter, who was outside the store, the officers were able to check both of them. During the check, the man tried to escape, but was caught after a short pursuit.

Both of them were also banned from staying in Austria. The woman was subsequently sent to Linz Prison for extradition, while her husband was also arrested.
