Cyprus closed the sky for Belarus

Thus, the country’s aviation authorities have banned airlines registered in Belarus from using the airspace and airports of Cyprus since May 28.

The same guidelines prohibit airlines registered in Cyprus from entering Belarusian airspace or flying to and from Belarus. All flights to Belarus have been terminated.

It is noted that the planned flight of Belavia airline from Minsk to Larnaca airport in Cyprus on May 29 was canceled. Restrictions do not apply in humanitarian and medical emergencies.

Earlier it was reported that Belavia canceled flights to eight countries in connection with new flight bans.

Also the Belarusian national airline Belavia canceled all flights to Ukraine until August 25, 2021. Moreover, they began to fly around Ukraine.
