Cynthia,originally from Co. Limerick,is deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband Joseph,her daughter Louise (murphy,Knock,Co. Mayo), and her sons Paul (London) and Cathal (Ballyheane). She is also survived by her son-in-law Brian, daughter-in-law paula, grandchildren Sophie, Charlie, Alexa, Juliette, and Liam (Murphy), as well as her brother Joe (Clonlara, Co. Clare), sister-in-law Margaret, and a wide circle of nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbors, and friends.
“May she rest in peace,” reads the notice, a sentiment echoed by all who knew her.Cynthia will repose at Coady’s funeral Home in Castlebar on Tuesday, February 4, from 5:30 pm, with removal to her residence at 7 pm. Her funeral will take place on Wednesday, February 5, with removal from her residence at 8 am for a Requiem Mass at 9 am in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyheane. This will be followed by a cremation service at 1 pm in Shannon Crematorium, Co. Clare.
For those unable to attend, the Requiem Mass can be viewed live on ChurchTV, and the cremation service will be streamed live on Lakelands Crematorium (password: CR33).
In lieu of flowers,the family has requested donations to St. Vincent De Paul, a cause close to Cynthia’s heart.
