Jeddah: Cyclone Mobile Accessories IT Soccer FC defeated Yas FC by two goals to one in the second day of the ongoing 20th CIF IS T Champions League in Jeddah in B Division. In another match in the B Division itself, FC Kuwaiza drew the mighty N-Comfort ACCB FC. In the final match in the A Division, Kafat Al Arabiya from Yampu dealt a heavy blow to former champions N-Comfort ACCA with a four-goal win over Yampu FC one.
In the first match, FC Kuwaiza grabbed a last-minute equalizer and shocked the ACC FC B team. Mohammad Afzal and Niaz Olakara scored for ACCB while Shamsuddin and Adil Aranikal scored for FC Kuwaiza. Muhsin Tayil presented the trophy to Niaz Olakara who was selected as the man of the match.
In the second match of the B Division, the match between equal powers, last year’s B Division champions and C Division champions, was victorious with Cyclone Mobile Accessories IT Soccer. Both the teams who played well with attacking and counter-attacking moves in front of both goals missed many chances in a close match and Safiya Travels Yas FC paid a heavy price for it. Cheri Mancheri presented the trophy to IT Soccer’s Dilshad Nalakam as the best player.
Indian Union Muslim League State General Secretary Adv: PMA Salam, Vice President Abdurrahiman Kallai, Anas Patashery (MD Cyclone Mobile Accessories), Jazeer (MD Safia Travels), Mujeeb Uppada (Jan: Secretary SIFCO), Kunhimon Kakiya , C.P. Mustafa got to know the players.
FC Yambu welcomed ACC FCA by four goals to one in the A Division match. In the first half, the goals were shared and tied. ACC FC was the first to score as they faced FC Yampu, who were leading the match, with a coherent and slow pace. Ten yards from the center line, Sanup’s long throw in from the left side landed in Yambu’s goal mouth and the ball rebounded easily to the post and Mohammad Niaz put ACC ahead. Having understood the strength of the ACC defense led by veteran Ziavuddin, FC Yampu used a strategy of unexpectedly attacking by keeping Rahul Kochanena Raman in front of Rahul Kochanna Raman despite conceding a goal. That’s why FC Yampu only managed to score an equalizing goal in the first half.
In the second half, both teams came back with a sharper attack. The second half started in the 11th minute Mohammed Niaz was sent off after a red card for slapping FC Yambu’s midfielder Sudheesh in the face as ACC’s Mohammed Niaz made a smart stop as he attempted to advance with the ball parallel to the touch line on the right side of the ground.
With the number reduced to 10, ACC tried to hold on with fierce defense and quick counter-attacks, but Siyavuddin was sent off for fouling Mohammad Asif of FC Yampu in the ACC area when the ball was in FC Yambu’s area with the ACC advancing, ACC was reduced to nine and the game was completely under FC Yambu’s control.
As the foul occurred while the game was going on in FC Yambu’s area, the Saudi panel referee Olayan Al Otaibi, who controlled the game, did not notice the foul, and Reserve Referee Omar Al Salim brought it to the referee’s attention through the wireless system.
Reduced to nine, ACCFC had little to do after that. FC Yampu completed the list with Rahul Kochan, Sudheesh Kottenchery and Mohammad Asif (4 1).
Shamsheer (MD Sama Trading) presented the Rahul Kochanulla Trophy as the best player in Yambu FC’s attack. P. Abdul Hakeem Parakal, Abdullatif Kapungal, Abdulaziz Rashidi, Mohammad Al Harbi Sweets, Yasir Malappuram and Ibrahim got to know the players. Fahad Nilambrak, the winner of the lucky draw, was given a prize by Nizam Mampad.
