The police caught a drunk cyclist on Sunday afternoon – with probably three per thousand alcohol in the blood.
According to the police, the 38-year-old drove on the cycle path between Königshofen and Lauda (Main-Tauber-Kreis) – with a beer bottle in his hand. When he drove past a police patrol and noticed them, he jumped off his bike. It didn’t help him much: the officers checked him and found an alcohol level of around three per mille with a breath test.
The man had to give a blood sample to the hospital and his bike was secured. He now has to reckon with an ad – the man does not have a valid driver’s license.
