The brothers Savva and Igor Mishchenko started with honors in the first races of the new year 2024.
The two competitors of the Burgas KK “Chernomorets”, coached by Todor Angelov, won medals from the first and second rounds of the Black Sea Cycling League.
On March 2 in Nessebar, for the Martobike Cup, at the co-criterium – 7.2 km junior boys, out of 16 competitors, Savva Mishchenko placed second.
In the senior boys, co-criterium 9.7 km, his brother Igor also won the silver.
The next day – March 3rd, Burgas cyclists took part in the traditional relay tour of Radio Varna.
In the junior boys, Sava Mishchenko, the winner after nine laps, triumphed with the gold.
At senior age, on the last lap, a bend before the final, Igor fell, a misfortune that predestined his third place in the race and a bronze medal.
Both races are part of the BFK and Black Sea Cycling League calendar.
