The cyclists of the Critical Mass movement demonstrated on Friday evening in the city of Zurich without a permit.
About 100 people gathered at Bürkliplatz with their bikes. The police asked them to leave the place. Most followed the instruction, but gathered in groups in various other places in the city, as the Zurich city police later announced on Twitter.
The bike parades of the international movement Critical Mass have been taking place in Zurich for months. After the Zurich governor had assessed the event as a demonstration, it was subject to approval for the first time.
