Belgium’s Jenno Berckmoes finished in third place with a time of 4:19 minutes. The women’s 102 km race was won by Olympic cross-country silver medalist Sina Frei from Switzerland.
The European Gravel Championship was held a week after the much bigger World Championship in Belgium, won by Dutch stars Mathieu van der Poel and Marianne Vos.
