It is not clear how the fall was caused. A car was also involved, but it is not known whether it actually hit the cyclist. The accident occurred around 8 pm and in any case caused the cyclist considerable suffering, who was transported by ambulance to Zwolle. The trauma helicopter also landed along the A50 near Apeldoorn-Noord; probably the trauma doctor intervened there for assistance.

Police Traffic Accident Analysis (VOA) will investigate the incident. The Stationsstraat is therefore temporarily closed to traffic from the direction of Rijsterborgherweg / Hoge Hondstraat.
