A woman ended up in a ditch in Holten on Wednesday with her tricycle. Her husband initially cycled until he realized she was missing.

What should have been a nice bike ride on Wednesday night turned out to be different for a couple in Holten. The man and the woman were both riding their electric tricycles on the Fliermatenweg.

The man in front, the woman behind. When the man turned around, he no longer saw his he wife. He was nowhere to be seen. The man did not trust and came back.

What he hadn’t seen was that his wife had ended up in the ditch for some unknown reason. Two passers-by had seen it happen. They saw the woman enter the ditch and also that her bicycle ended up on top of her. Without thinking about it, they immediately called the emergency health services.

Meanwhile, the man realized that his wife was in the ditch. She had to watch as the emergency services pulled her out of the ditch. The woman was checked by the doctors and taken home by ambulance.
