A cyclist died in a traffic accident in Dresden-Weissig on Monday morning. According to the police, the 50-year-old came out of the forest road and wanted to cross the Ullersdorfer Landstrasse. She missed a passing car and collided.
The cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and died on the way to the hospital. The driver was in shock.
The Ullersdorfer Landstraße was closed for several hours because of the accident recording. The police are now investigating the exact cause of the accident and are urgently looking for witnesses. Information is accepted on 0351-483 22 33.
